Baez enters his first season with the Express, joins the program from SUNY Canton University.
Over four seasons with the Kangaroos, Baez slashed .316/.394/.437 with 110 hits, 19 doubles, four triples, five home runs and 61 RBI.
Baez starred as a freshman with the Kangaroos, finishing with a team-high .415 batting average and .500 on-base percentage. Baez continued his success over his sophomore and junior seasons, and was named an All-American his junior year, before injuries his senior season ended his college career.
Following his graduation from SUNY Canton, Baez worked at various baseball camps and travel programs throughout the New York area.
A graduate of Evader Child's High School, Baez was named the team MVP his senior season before joining the Kangaroos.
Baez graduated from SUNY Canton with a bachelor's degree in sports management in 2017 and currently lines in The Bronx.
