Infante enters first season with the Express with over 16 years of experience teaching players at all levels of baseball. Most recently, Infante served as the catching instructor for the Monroe Mustangs JV and varsity baseball teams in New Rochelle, N.Y. In his first season with the program in 2018, Infante helped the Mustangs win their first-ever Eastern District Championship and reach the JUCO World Series for the first time in program history.

Prior to joining the Mustangs, Infante worked as an independent scout for Clutch Sports Agency in Orlando, Fla., scouting some of the top prospects in professional baseball.

Previously, Infante worked internationally, serving as the hitting/bench coach for the Grosseto professional baseball club. There, Infante obtained his first win as interim manager in 2012. His work was also recognized by Marco Mazzieri, the manager of the Italian World Baseball Classic team, and he joined the coaching staff for the team’s training and preparation for the WBC. Â

Infante also coached at Baruch College from 2008-2010, helping the Bearcats to a CUNYAC Championship in 2009, and runner-up finishes in 2010 and 2011.

Infante began his coaching career at Hardball Reps in the Dominican Republic, serving as the Director of Scouting and Player Development from 2007-2010.

Infante played collegiately at Louisburg College, the Globe Institute of Technology and Ramapo College before being drafted out of Ramapo by the Kansas City Royals in the 2004 MLB Draft.

Infante played two seasons in the Royals minor league system, before playing a season with the St. Joe Blacksnakes in the American Association.

A graduate of DeWitt Clinton High School, Infante currently lives in the Bronx.
