Monroe University Bronx

Gregory Espinal was hired as assistant coach for the Monroe University - Bronx baseball program in January of 2026.

No stranger to the Express baseball team, Espinal played for Monroe in the outfield during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. He earned the Region 15 Gold Glove Award in 2023 and was named to the All-Region second team in 2024. During his career, Espinal hit .338 with six home runs and 49 runs batted in, plus he had an on-base percentage of .461.

A resident of the Bronx, Espinal earned his associate degree in accounting from Monroe University - Bronx in 2023.
