SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Monroe College – Bronx women's basketball team fell in its non-region matchup to nationally ranked No. 6 Onondaga Community College by a score of 65-44, at Allyn Hall Gymnasium, on Sunday afternoon.
Onondaga (17-1) led from wire-to-wire, scoring the first eight points of the contest, and never looking back.
After trailing 35-15 to Onondaga at the break, Monroe – Bronx (10-9) improved in the second half as they only got outscored by a 30-29 margin. The Express edged the Lazers in the fourth quarter, 15-14.
