Winter Smith has made a big impact since making her season debut for the Express. In her collegiate debut against Queensborough on January 7, she tallied a double-double with 12 points and 13 steals, the latter which tied a program single-game record, while dishing out seven assists and grabbing six rebounds. Two nights later at nationally ranked No. 10 Community College of Rhode Island, Smith had another big game for Monroe as she scored 15 points, grabbed six rebounds, forced just as many steals, and delivered four assists.
