Dimitre Alston was named the NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball National Player of the Week on November 7. Alston had big performances against two top-5 teams in the country at the Brookdale Community College Classic this past weekend. He led the Express to a big victory over nationally ranked No. 5 Northern Essex Community College on Saturday by generating 17 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. The next day at No. 3 Brookdale, he scored a game-high 19 points, grabbed eight rebounds, dished out two assists, and blocked a shot.
