Gabriela De La Rosa had a strong run in the Region 15 Championships which led the Express women's volleyball team to the North Atlantic B District Championship. In the quarterfinal win over Westchester Community College on October 31, she generated four kills, six digs, and five aces. In Monroe's thrilling five-set win against Queensborough Community College on November 2, which clinched the Express' third straight district title, De La Rosa produced a double-double for the Express with 13 kills and 11 digs, while adding a match-high nine service aces and earning a hitting percentage of .300. Later that day in the regional championship match against No. 13 Nassau Community College, De La Rosa tallied four kills, just as many digs, and three aces.
