In Monroe's doubleheader at Bronx Community College on Tuesday, Veras went 2-for-4 with three walks, two runs scored and two RBI. Veras knocked in two crucial runs in the Express' game two victory, bringing home a run in the Top of the 4th on a sacrifice fly.

Veras finished his sophomore year with the Express batting .273/.410/.442 with three doubles, two triples, two home runs, 15 runs scored and 18 RBI.
